Self Portraits
These self portraits were taken in my backyard during the day. I created my photograph by using the self-timer setting on my point and shoot while the camera was on a tripod. The camera was set to sun with the ISO 200 and a fast shutter for the action shots. I chose my karate gi to wear and my camas to hold in the shots because karate is large aspect of my life. In most of the shots I was performing one of my newest forms, Kanegawa no Nichogama. The other two represented my love for nature and being outside. I find my 6th photograph to be most successful, as it has positive and negative space and shows only my head to represented my introverted nature.
